On December 10, 2021, Urania Berlin invited me to moderate an online discussion (in German) on Trockenheit und Dürre (droughts and dry weather conditions) in the Berlin/Brandenburg area and whether and how innovative technologies can address these issues. Panelists were Prof. Dr. Irina Engelhardt (TU Berlin) and PD Dr. Hagen Koch (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research).
On September 25, 2021, I was invited to discuss where the city of Mönchengladbach in Germany gets its drinking water with Detlev Schumacher, the managing director of NEW NiederrheinWasser GmbH, the drinking water provider there.
